  1. "Stay Together," their not-on-any-album masterpiece, is another melody true enough to convince half the world's songwriters to give it up and take up needlepoint. Its lyrics are perfect Suede, with that element of the sinister built in - "There's a time bomb in the high rise" /5(51).

  6. "Trash" is the first single from the album Coming Up by Suede, released on 29 July , on Nude Records. It is the first single on which all the songs were written without guitarist Bernard Butler, since Richard Oakes had taken his place. The single is tied with "Stay Together" as the band's highest charting at number three; however, it outsold the earlier single, thus making it their biggest.
  7. Although the chorus is the weakest of Suede's five singles to this point, thanks to an ineffective falsetto backing vocal by Brett Anderson, a lush and lustful, pretty verse -- another instant tune from guitarist Bernard Butler, the big talent in the band -- and a dramatic bridge punctuated by uncharacteristic background touches in the form of horns and cello make "Stay Together" another fine 8/
  8. Suede - Singles. Suede are a band I can never go off tbh. I'm a metal fan believe it or not, but I've always had a soft spot for Suede. I think their brilliant. A timeless band. It's one of those albums you forgot you had, you come across it one random day, and can't stop palying it for the next 6 months lol. Nice easy listening with a bit of a Seller Rating: % positive.
